So seriously everyday my sister Heidi asks me when i'm going to post on our blog. Well Heidi love, here you go! i decided to just start witht the most recent thing, my 22 birthday! and i will just work backwards and add some other blogs about past things that have happened since we have moved here to austin!
Derek being the Romantic that he is had a little birthday party for me when i got home from work. He said that he knew that this birthday was going to be a bit of a different experience for me since we aren't by our family. But he said that he would make sure that i got all the attention and love that i would need to have a good birthday, and he most defiantly did!! He got the cutest little cake. Since it was so little, when he put all the candles on it, it looked like i was turning 50. Or maybe i really am just old. He had Disney Theme and got me old Disney's movies that we are always talking about. It was adorable! We were both pretty partied out from the weekend, we had three friends drive up from Utah to go ACL with us( I'll do that blog later, i have tons of pics), so we just stayed in and ordered pizza and watched sword and the stone. It was really fun though! It was so relaxing compared to our crazy weekend!
My Family sent me a package about two weeks ago, and as of yesterday morning i still hadn't got it. My mom was freaking out, she was so worried that the mail hail had lost it. So i went and checked with my apt building and turns out they had it there and they forgot to tell me they had it! But you know if i would of got it before, i can't pass up opening a present and most likely wouldn't of waited until my birthday to open it so it turned out to be perfect! ha ha! My family sent me the cutest stuff. My dad sent me a monkey that sang happy birthday you live in the zoo song( he always Teases me on my birthday so he said that was him teasing me) Derek made sure to add "skunk" to the end of the song every time it played. (Heidi that's for you) My mom sent me some Halloween stuff, a shirt, some cake, a balloon, some cute bags, candy and a cute mix CD. My dad put a song on the Cd that made me bawl my eyes out. It was called " I loved her first" It was about how a father watched his daughter dance on her wedding day. Man it was so cute. My sister Coutrney sent me the cutest yellow cowboy boots, and her boyfriend Eddie send me lip gloss and some goodies and My little Brothers sent me some cute cards!Michelle and Carl sent me some sweet moo-law and some fake meat. Plus nummy bread that i ate in about five seconds. My King Grandparents sent a cute little card and a check too:) It was all around just a really good birthday!
